Simon
McBeath has specialised in motorsport technology since his writing career
began in 1993, but he has also contributed to numerous publications in
a variety of sectors and on a wide range of topics including European travel,
photography and meterorology.
He
regularly contributed technical features, company profiles, and specialised
motorsport columns, including the renowned Aerobytes series, to Racecar
Engineering, the world's first and foremost technical motorsport magazine, from 1997 to 2020, and since taking semi-retirement at the end of 2019 now focusses on CFD project-based aerodynamics articles.
He
has contributed to other motoring and motorsport titles past and present such as Cars & Car Conversions, The Golf Plus, Startline, Speedscene, Motorsport News, In Gear Motorsport and Track Driver.
In addition he has contributed articles and photographs to Climber magazine on matters meteorological, on European travel by motorhome and caravan to Motoring & Leisure, Practical Caravan, Camping & Caravanning, Caravan Life, Caravan Magazine, and Camping Magazine, and on photographing
clouds and weather to Photo Technique. |
